Tinta Tawa Park
Tinta Tawa Park is Casselton's largest park and the center of activity for a variety of parks and recreation-sponsored events throughout the year, but especially May through September.
The park features three baseball/softball diamonds, including a youth diamond (No. 3) constructed specifically for kids ages 5 to 12. The park also boasts three picnic shelters, a recreational bicycle and walking trail, two tennis courts, three separate sets of playground equipment and two fishing docks for use with the park's stocked reservoir.
Two sets of restrooms are available for public use April through October. The park also has a batting cage available for seasonal use by park district teams and the public.
Tinta Tawa Park is located just off of County Highway 10 on the northwest edge of Casselton. Park shelters are available for rent and portions of the park or all of it can be rented for private events. for more information, call the park district office at 347-5386.
