House of Hoops tops Shamrock for Men's League Title The House of Hoops won its second straight Casselton Men's Basketball League regular-season championship Wednesday night with a 67-61 victory over the Shamrock Bar. In other games Feb. 24, Sheyenne Valley Lumber rallied from a first-half deficit to defeat Kelly Welding 66-48. Mint Condition edged Arthur Ventures 69-65 and the Red Baron Lounge got past Kindred 59-50. The top-seeded House will take on No. 8 Arthur Ventures next Wednesday, March 3, in the opening game of the city league season-ending tournament at 6:15 p.m. No. 4 Sheyenne Valley will meet Kelly Welding in a rematch of the regular season's finale at 7:15 p.m. No. 2 Shamrock will take on No. 7 Mint Condition at 8:15 p.m. and No. 3 Red Baron will play No. 6 Kindred at 9:15 p.m. Game scores and final regular season results are updated in our "Standings" link. Park Bathrooms Closed for the Season at Tinta Tawa The restrooms at Tinta Tawa Park have been winterized and are closed for the season.
