"Let's Create!" is a five-day pre-school art program that engages 4 and 5-year-old children in exploring art elements of line, shape, color and texture.

     Literature from author Leo Lionni will be used in conjunction with the class to inspire creative thought through painting, collage, drawing and printmaking

     Mary Kensok is the instructor.  Please note that each of the pre-school art sessions is limited to 15 children.

Program Dates:  Monday through Friday, July 16-20

Location:  Casselton City Hall Auditorium

Session I:  1:00 PM to 2:30 PM

Session II:  2:30 PM to 4:00 PM

Fee:  $25

Players 13 to 18 years of age compete in the Rural Cass Softball League's High School Division. League play will begin in early June.  The league tournament is typically set for the first weekend of July, with the North Dakota state 14, 16 and 18-year-old tournaments scheduled for July 12 and July 19 and 21.

Equipment:   Players need a glove and athletic shoes. Rubber spikes are recommended. All other equipment and team uniforms are provided.

Fees $40.

     Our 11 and 12 year old girls will compete in the Rural Cass Junior Softball League. Players must be at least at least 11 years old on or before July 31, 2008 to be eligible for this junior girl's activity. League games are typically scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning in June. The league hosts a mid-season tournament and year-end event in Casselton sponsored by the First State Bank of North Dakota. Dates and times for those events will be determined at a later date.

Player Notes:  All players need thier own golve and should wear athletic shoes, preferably rubber.  All other game equipmetn will be provided.

     Casselton will field at least one team in the 9-10 year old league in West Fargo this summer. We want our younger junior girl players to develop and play with others their own age. Our teams practice in Casselton and travel to West Fargo for league games during the week. Players must be at least 9 years old on or before July 31, 2008 to be eligible for this activity.

Dates:   Mondays through Thursdays, mid-June through mid-July.

Location:   Practices at the Tinta Tawa Park Diamonds, games at West Fargo's Elmwood Park (500 13th Avenue West, West Fargo) 

Equipment:   Glove is required and uniforms will be provided.
